The inaugural Orwell Award for Creative Lexicography (1) has been awarded to Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (2), 46th President (3) of the United States of America (4).
Here is a small sample of the honoree’s outstanding contributions to the field: Inflation Reduction (5) Act; Secure border (6); Transitory (7) Inflation; a Reconciliation Bill with zero cost (8); racial justice (9); green energy (10); environmental equity (11).
The prestigious Orwell Award will not be awarded annually or on another set schedule, but only when an individual has achieved extraordinary levels of creativity over a substantial period of time with widespread notoriety.
